There will be an All-Star Reader program sponsored by the PawSox and Citizens Bank. Hopefully we will have the forms by the beginning of summer reading. I doubt we will have them for school visits. It will be very similar (perhaps identical) to last year. Library night (binder night) is August 25. I will be meeting with the PawSox and Citizens in the next couple weeks and more details will follow.

So does that mean that I can advertise the 4 tickets to a Pawsox game raffle and the Disney trip raffle on my flyer? It's just about ready to go to print so I wanted to double check. Thanks! Pam, EPL

Susan...would you know if the sponsorship line going to be the same as last year? Thanks so much for taking on the meeting for game night!

I met with the PawSox and Citizens Bank today. The plan is essentially the same as last year. The game is on August 25, the deadline for entering is Friday, August 14. I'll probably need the names by the end of Wednesday, August 19. The sponsors are now the PawSox, Citizen's Bank and Pepsi-Cola. Make sure you change your promo.

The forms will go out by June 15. I asked Amy to add a spot for birthdate which will make it easier to verify that they are the proper age. I will try to find all the legal stuff that Melody sent out with the official rules and send that with the forms. The winner still gets four tickets to the PawSox game and one lucky reader will go to Disney World. The librarians still get two tickets to the barbecue tent for each building.
